Italian luxury clothing brand Moncler has announced plans to launch its own line of fragrances. The company has signed a contract with France-based Interparfums.
Moncler informed that the first fragrances from the company are expected to hit the markets in early 2022. Interparfums and Moncler have signed a licensing agreement that will run until 2026. Depending on the market response, the contract can be extended by five more years, Moncler informed.
Luxury goods and fashion brands are trying different strategies to deal with the major blow to sales led by COVID-19 pandemic and lockdowns announced by local governments.
Moncler has donated funds to Italian local authorities to deal with COVID-19 pandemic. Many regions across Italy were badly impacted by coronavirus.
